We certainly have not been helped by the weather in our efforts to get the new school built! This is the small dozer that has been bogged for quite some time now. The good news is that the site will now have some drainage work done that will be great for the future years that we are there!
We have finally got some action on the new school site, with the site having a great deal of dirt taken away and replaced with engineered fill that will allow us to finally pour a slab and get building! Fingers crossed for it being as straight forward as possible from here on!!
Work continues on the site for our new school. A lot of digging, taking dirt (sludge) away, and bringing back better engineered fill for the site has been happening. Great to see so much activity!
Today is a BIG milestone for the building of our new school. They are finally laying the slab and are hoping to get a roof up before Christmas!! Very exciting!!
We were promised that once the slab was down, we would see things happening pretty quickly and they haven't let us down! As the frame goes up and the building takes shape, we get a much better idea of the size and layout.
